NEWS 

" Documents by volunteer nurses in the Great East Japan Earthquake" (Published from Sanseido) Released in early February.

People who have read this say "It's useful to know what is needed at the shelters", "We know what nurses are able to do".


CANNUS is mainly organized by nurses. We are supporting people and the areas which were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. We are helping people who have difficulty getting medical treatments ,nursing care, and living normal life.

Our objective is to live along with the people in North East Japan, and construct a system which can last for the forseeable future.

 

CANNUS is an organization of 'nurses' who do what they 'can' do.

CANNUS is a volunteer organization established in 1997, mainly structured by visiting nurses.

 

By January 2012, over 7,000 volunteers have registere

 

Our objective concerning the East Japan Earthquake

   Prevention of isolation and Solitary death

    Revive areas so that people can live healthy.

   

■Operating areas:

  Miyagi Prefecture, Ishinomaki City (mainly Oshika Peninsula), Miyagi Prefecture,

   Kesen-numa City

 

Operating contents:

  "Ochakko" (small community with tea time), Door-to-door Nursing, various events,

   Job Creating

       

Each one of us always keep sensibility in mind, and behave as a nurse and a citizen by thinking for ourselves.

We work independently, we promote self-responsibility, and self-management.
